Thnx to Tderoeck and 77ships for sharing the beers ! Pours rather clear blonde, good to big white head. Smell is apples, sharp, malty. Taste is sharp, rather bitter, yeasty, bit malts. Some apples. Very overcarbonated, OK body.

Thank you tderoeck! 330 ml. bottle sampled on the train ride pre-Bruges Beer Festival 2017. Hazy sparkling golden, fizzy white head. Nose is awful, dishwashing liquid and almost chemical like unpleasant esters. Taste is fizzy, soap, chemicals, sparkling plaster, worst kind of BE esters, chemical apple, fizzy industrial. This is awful, ester heavy, fizzy in the worst fashion. Apple tastes like a chemical experiment gone wrong & fail to find any cherries, unpleasant rubbish.

5/II/17 - 33cl bottle from my dad-in-law, shared @ train ride to Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2017-108) Thanks to George for the bottle!

Clear pale yellow beer (that's not deep golden!), big solid creamy white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: spicy, coriander, fruity, grassy, hay, dusty impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very metallic, grains, pretty bitter, surprisingly. Aftertaste: more metallic, bitter and unpleasant. Well, I suppose most people visiting the pilgrimage are way beyond the point of tasting much subtleties anyway, so I guess they won't mind. I do, though.
