[backlog] 05-05-16 / sample at Cantillon Quintessence 2016. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating: 3.5/5 --- Beer merged from original tick of Agullons Setembre on 05 May 2016 at 13:29 - Score: 7. Original review text: #quintessence
Last from them: all in all just average, nothing compared to Cantillon.

9th July 2016: RBESG Grand Tasting (part 1). Clear golden amber pour, light weight white head on top. This was more ’farmyardy’ than the other Masia Agullons Sours we tried. More sour too, this was almost acidic in nature and a real sour puss of a beer. Not really to my liking.

Bottle sampled at quintessence. Clear golden with small white head. Sour grains, lemon, lactic notes, some bitter herbs and oak. Light sour and under medium bitter. Medium bodied with low carbonation. 3.4 bottle at RBESG16. Quite funky and seems less lactic. Seems slightly better when you don’t have it side by side with Cantillon whales. 3.6
