Tap. Café Beermoth, Manchester. Murky, reddy brown. No head. Nose has cider apple vinegar. Some balsamic savoury notes. Red berry. Earthy stone fruit. Taste is tart and vinous, with a fruity sweet edge. Tart, astringent palate. Crisp carbonation. Finishes fruity and tart. Very nice.

Keg at Six Deg North. It pours cloudy deep red - brown with a small off-white head. The nose is earthy, funky, musty, dark fruits, fermenting berry, wood, light vanilla, damp leaves, source apple, fruit cake, Bakewell tart and spice. The taste is tart, funky, sour red berry, decent acidity, red wine, sherbet, strawberries & balsamic vinegar, wood, light vanilla, red apple skin, sour cherry and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Jammy and funky. Good depth of flavour. Rather nice.
