750ml bottle - Pours a cloudy light brown colour with a small frothy off-white head. The aroma is vinegary, tart apple, berries and fruit chutney. Light sweet and sharp acidic flavours, balsamic vinegar, tart fruit, apples, cherries and lemons with a drying sour finish.

0,75 flaske med grå plastforsegling, fra polets nettbutikk, delt med seremonmesteren og skibsrederen på maritim ølsmaking om bord på Fridtjofen sep-20: nesten helt klar rødlig kobber med fint skum som holder følge helt til bunns. Rødvinsvinøs aroma og smak med sure bær, brett og eik/vanilje. Den sure bærsmaken dominerer, men uten at jeg føler meg ukomfortabel. Eller er det ganen som er i ferd med å kalibrere seg mot det sure?

Bottle shared with Sigmund and Holmen1 on board Fridtjofen 26.01.20. Hazy pale mahogany. Small white head. Aroma and taste of pure brett, sour malt and wood. Acid, dry and astringent mouthfeel.

750 ml silver / grey waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Hazy orange to reddish brown colour, small white head. Aroma of oak, oaked wine, farmhouse kitchen. Sour flavour, notes of oak, lemons, red wine vinegar.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; deep copper brown pour with a thin creamy beige head, aroma has tart vinegar almost a Flanders like quality, taste has tart dark fruits, big acidity, dark cherries, hint of raisins, some spicing, ok.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry and fresh sour-ish, oak, sour grass, weeds, minerals, bark, hay, old cellar, fruit stones, hints of vinegar. Taste is sour-ish dry, soda powder, sorrel, citrus acid, vinegar, grass, fruit stones, sour apples, lemon, unripe berries. Medium bitterness, sour-ish dry mouthfeel. Nice.

750ml bottle. Ruby-brown amber colour, white foam head and aroma of citric rind, woody oak, funk. Taste is sour, lemon rind, acidic, melon, fruity, wood, oaky, funk, dry. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour finish. Very drinkable.

Draft. Hazy golden yellow color. Aroma of funky lemon and straw. Taste is sour and tart peppery citrus. Tasty.
