Bottle from Flask. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish. 131216

Draught @ Christian Firtal, Odense. Pours slightly hazy goldenorange with a small offwhite head. Aroma of sweet malt, little caramel, sweet fruity hops, grass, herbal, dill. Flavor is sweet, rather bitter, malt, caramel, fruity, loads of sorachi ace (not my favorite) herbs, lots of dill. Full body, average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 251116

Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Weird Beard Sorachi Face Plant ].Light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, peel, sweet orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141206]

Cask at Greyfriars, Reading. Golden amber. Ooh, a DIPA- yes, that should thaw me out after the bitter cold that was Reading beer festival this year. But it’s salty. Really salty. There’s peach & grapefruit & alcohol behind as if there’s a nice DIPA there somewhere but mainly it’s really, really salty. Not in a nice way like a gose, more like unexpectedly swallowing sea water. It’s too salty. Why does no-one else mention the salt? I’m now on a train feeling desperately thirsty, and possibly about to have a heart attack due to my arteries being clogged with salt. Bastards.

(Thx!) Sampled draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2016. Lightly hazy orange, off-white head. Nose is massive dank hop, orange, creamy malts & bleu cheese hop. Taste is massive blue cheese Sorachi Ace hop to your face, alone this makes this greatness in my book, some caramel, butterscotch, chewy malts in the back. Beautiful, this is my things, make this happen regularly here, start distributing this everywhere.

Draft @ Tilquin English Fest ’16, courtesy of and shared with the fine Belgian RB crew. Dorée, col fin blanc. Arôme est centré sur le houblon avec un agréable profil de Sorachi qui tire pas mal sur l’herbacé. Palais est léger malté qui laisse vite la place au Sorachi avec une pointe verte herbacée et épicée plus une longueur de bouche au niveau des agrumes. Plaisant sans être surfait et tomber dans la faute de note de diacetyl et beurre typique d’usage trop abondant de Sorachi.
