A traditional take on this sour and salty style of German wheat beer - inoculated with lactobacillus for tartness, and brewed with coriander for herbal notes and salt for a crisp, refreshing salinity.

Keg at the brewery. Good to see some London gose. Hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is lemon , floral, zesty, hint of seaweed. Tangy. Palate is mineral, salt, spritzy carbonation. Flavour is tangy sharp lemon juice, mineral, sea salt. Tangy . some floral. Salt is a little too strong.

Keg at the Rake. It pours cloudy golden with a tiny white head. The nose is earthy, toasted white bread, salted lemon, lime and cereal. The taste is crisp, tart, lactic bite, natural yoghurt, salted lemon, white grape skin, earthy funk and dull herbal notes with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Works pretty well. Good balance.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy gold with a dense, creamy white head. A bit of wheat in the nose, ripening lemon, sourdough bread. Light sweet flavor with moderate lemony acidity, good drying saltiness, hints of grapefruit pith, pale bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish, more salt, lemon, slight melon, tangerine, minerals. Thereโ€™s a slight ashy off-note in the finish, but itโ€™s pretty nice overall.
