Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Clear golden. Nose is very empty & hugely metallic with some vegetable oil & butter. Taste is rubbish metallic sweet corn with some butter, chemical, very metallic body. Not good. Oddly I found the Hop version better than this or at least not this flawed. Subpar bottle, possible, there appear to be noticeable issues with this brewery. I remember that this brewery used to be glorified home brewing & I wouldn’t be surprised if it is still, quality control might be hard here, these guys website looks like hasn’t been changed since the 1990s.

*Old rating. Best before 04/2012. Smooth fresh body. Sweetish, round and fresh. Smooth, alcoholic and yeasty-spicy. Nice but too sharp alcoholic.

Süß hopfige Mischung, die nicht ganz harmonisch erscheint. Die Hopfennoten können nicht frisch herüber, die Süße erscheint etwas zu stark. Nicht gelungen. 11/6/7/6//6

6/VIII/14 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ the seaside - BB: n/a, no markings on the side to indicate a date with the preprinted numbers (2014-883)
Clear orange beer, big fizzy aery white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very aged, oxidized, rotten fruits, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, orange peel, sugary, little sourish, almonds. Aftertaste: very sugary, orange peel, sherry, marzipan, overripe fruits, some alcohol. Tastes like it's been aged for 5 years or more. But, they're too negligent to put a date on the bottle, so this can happen to any customer. Be warned.

The triple in this series has a rather thin but stable, cream white, sticky head and peach blonde colour, lightly cloudy with equally divided, tiny yeast particles; nose gets orange peel, pineapple, caramel malts, apple, lemon zest, grassy hops, white pepper and cardboard. Taste kicks off softly fruity and sweetish with quite mild saturation (at least in comparison with its light blonde counterpart), sourish citrus, mildy malty in the middle and finishing off aromatically and gently hoppy without really becoming bitter. One of those many forgettable, thirteen-to-the-dozen tripels.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Slightly unclear orange color, average sized off-white head that diminishes quite quickly. Smell and taste malts, pretty sweet, lightly herbs or spices and slightly alcohol. Average to medium body, a bit fizzy carbonation. No, don’t like it, way too sweet and annoying carbonation.
