Bon Secours Myrtille is the only fruit beer in the Bon Secours range. When served, it reveals an intense red color, enhanced by the use of blueberry juice and special malts. Not too sweet, you'll particularly appreciate the balance between the freshness of the fruit and a pleasant bitterness thanks to the cold hopping technique. This beer is brewed with real hand-picked blueberries from the Carpathians.
First produced 2015. The Dry Hopping gives it a nice bitterness. Compact reddish head. Pronounced blueberry aroma. Dry beer, very slight sweetness but fruity, EBC 40.

23/IV/16 - 33cl bottle @ Zythos Bierfestival 2016 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2016-438) Thanks to the BE RB crew for sharing beers today!
Clear dark orange to amber beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, sugary, artificial fruit smell, blueberries, strawberry jam. MF: ok carobn, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, very fruity, blueberries, bit sugary, weird bitterness, bit hoppy, very soapy. Aftertaste: jam, weird, bitter hops. Not too bad, but the hoppiness seems very out of place in this fruit beer...

Hazy amber color with white ring. Aroma is candied fruits, strawberry, blueberries. Taste is the same, quite fruity and more strawberries for me. Also a bit phenolic. Medium high carbonation.

330ml bottle from Auchan. Pours hazy amber, medium white head. Aroma is bubblegum and parma violets. Taste is similarly fruity, floral & sweet. It’s really unlike anything I’ve had before. Blueberries, bubblegum, parma violets.. it’s all there. And as I love all of these things, I really like this beer.

As La Chaperon. At CR, thanks to the guy who brought it, shared with several people. Anyway, brown/red body without much head. Malty aroma, sticky, blueberries but mostly honey. Taste... stale, blueberries and hoeny, light and lean though. Slightly yeasty/meaty. OK but not more than that.
