Bolshaya Kruzhka has a classical, time-proved taste bringing back memories of the legendary beer that was so popular in Russia more than 20 years ago.
The beer recipe is based on classical ingredients: water, barley, hops and malt. Maize grits and caramel malt give Bolshaya Kruzhka its nice golden colour and slightly sweet taste.

1.5L PET bottle. Deep golden colour, Fluffy head of low duration. The aroma is poor: some hints of grain & hay. light body. The taste is mostly sweet along with sour notes. Abrupt finish. Almost no aftertaste. No need nor wish to try it again.

1.5l plastic bottle from a local Russian supermarket. Clear golden yellow, very stable and large white head. Fruity nose. Light-bodied, malty base with hints of apples, shy hops with a touch of cardboard and a touch of old fruit. Nevertheless quite drinkable.

Can 500ml (Stockmann Tallinn) as "Big Mug Amber"
Pale yellow color, mostly vanishing white head. Light grainy and cardboardish aroma. LIght to medium-bodied. Sweet honeyish, kind of cidery flavor. Oily palate. Short finish. Not terrible, but nothing to drink another time.

Can. As "Big Mug Amber Beer". Clear golden with a small, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma has some graininess, light corny hints, a bit of malt, hay and light hoppiness with faint metallic hints. Flavor starts with light sweetness, with a bit of grainy and corny notes, and continues drier with some bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied. Pretty clean and not too offensive, but still not so fun to drink.
