Eins Zwei, G’suffa is a collaboration with German Kraft.
It’s a traditionally brewed Weissbier, with a load of extra hops thrown in, making it a Hopfenweiss.
Brewed to celebrate Oktoberfest, it’s got banana notes, big body, bready mouthfeel and tropical hop notes.
Goes well with oompas and boompas.
Featuring James and Tobi, the Braumeisters of German Kraft.

5 October 2019. At Amabieris Tasting. Cheers to Ama Deke & Ghent beer crew! Hazy yellow with a slowly thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of unripe banana, yellow apple, apricot, white bread, wheat, white pepper. Taste is light fruity sweet, restrained (estery) banana & apple, bready maltiness & yeasty supporting bitter notes of pepper & grass, some wheat. Dry, bitter, grassy-earthy finish, lingering fruit, bread & yeast. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Hoppy & bitter but not aromatic enough, meanwhile straying too far from the Hefeweizen character.

Can from Beer Zoo. Murky orange body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of blood orange and white pepper. Flavour of physalis and lemon. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Juicy and slightly sharp. Nice.

Keg at the Brew Club - Hackney. Pours cloudy bright orange-gold with a lasting, foamy white head. Good stuff, some wheat bread, mellow yeast, zesty lemon and grapefruit, pine needles. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more zesty citrus, flakes wheat. Tidy.
