Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with minimal almost white head and good lacing. Hops are to the fore in the aroma, plus some hints of citrus. In the mouth it is zesty and quite sweet with flavour of barley sugar and floral hops. Later on comes tangerine and hints of marmalade and sultanas, leading to a quite fruity finish. It’s reasonable, but nothing spectacular.

10th February 2023; Ludlow Brewery Valentine Beer Festival, hand-pulled half-pint. Pale golden body, white top. Citrus front to the nose and taste, all a bit subtle though. Hoped for more depth and flavours.

Keg @ Bottle & Barrel after a 90 mile ride. Pours a generally clear gold, small white head. Lovely fresh citrussy vibes, with a light drinkability. Great quencher in the heat.

Rocky white head on a golden coloured body. Sweet fruity aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp dry back. Peach, candy sweets, melon & tangy citrus tastes. Solid & easy going.

Appearance is amber, clear, with a small foamy head. Aroma is orange, pineapple, grapefruit, grassy hop hints. Taste is bitter hops, orange, grapefruit, malty caramel undertones, sweet fruit, lingering bitterness.

Bottle from This is Beer. Appearance - golden, very slight haze. Big white fluffy head. Nose - mainly lemon and grapefruit pith. Just a touch of biscuit and a hint of pine. Taste - citrus again, pith dominant. Biscuit minimal which is good for the style. Palate - light bodied, dry and zesty through middle and finish. Overall - yeah, enjoyed this.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light yellow/gold and ever so slightly hazy. Tropical fruit and orange peel in the aroma with some gummy resinous notes. Tastes mostly sweet, very fresh with a splendidly judged bitterness coating the tongue in the finish. Gentle but unmistakable notes of mango and orange in the aftertaste. This is splendid.
