A New England – Australia Pale Ale a using a high proportion of wheat and oats in the grist to add body and aid haze formation. Low bitterness to accentuate a soft mouthfeel and heavily dry-hopped with a blend of dank and juicy Australian hops imparting tropical fruit aromas, and filled with passion fruit, mango and orange flavour. Fermented with our house yeast WLP066 for maximum aroma and a slightly sweet finish, it’s a perfectly balanced, smooth and tasty little number.

330ml can at 5%. Pours hazy dark gold with a large head. Aroma is sweet, with strawberry, melon and pineapple. Taste has melon and yeasty stone fruit. Creamy mouthfeel.

Can from Tesco in Rickmansworth, Herts. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit aroma and taste. Pleasant and very drinkable beer but lacking some complexity.

13 June 2020. At De Kelk, Bruges. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy ochre with a stable, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of dank mandarin, peach, pineapple, biscuit, vague caramel, mango. Taste has sweet ripe mango, mandarin, biscuity malt linking it to bitter stonefruit & a hint of pine. Dry, floral-earthy hoppy finish, more ripe mandarin, biscuit, tropical but rather dank in the very end. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Good enough Hazy.

Fruity, hoppy taste with pineapple, passion-fruit, grapefruit, orange, pine needles and a balanced citric, piney bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and juicy. Very nice.
