Can from Tesco Supermarket, Salford. Hazy golden with thin head. Citrus brew but with a very low citric bitterness, and coupled with its grain it's quite dank in taste, although its aftertaste gets fairly fruity.

330 ml can, as Magic Rock Murk-Life Balance Hazy Pale Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sola. ABV is 5.0%. Brewed with Australian hops, according to the brewery website. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Lovely and intense aroma of a wide range of tropical fruits, also citrus and spruce. Fairly light bodied. The flavour is more dry than sweet, moderate notes of pine needles, sprucetips and said fruits.

Can from Tesco. Cloudy yellow in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Aroma of ripe mango, pineapple and red berries, with a touch of green herb and pine. Flavour had a lot more fruit, with some strawberry sweetness, light, white bread malta,s, leading to a dryish finish. Very good and great value as part of the £5 for three deal.

Can on 23rd January 2021 from Tesco, Cricklewood. Pours a hazy orangey amber with a thick yet short-lived pale tan foam. Scant lacing. Fruity and malty aromas. Tropical fruits with a touch of strawberry and apricot in-mouth. Biscuit malts. A tart citrus finish with grassiness. Smooth yet engaging mouthfeel and plenty of body. A fascinating ale.

Clear bright blond to yellow beer, big creamy fluffy off-white head, stable, adhesive. Aroma: lovely, very juicy, tropical fruits, dank hops, very nice! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: soft bitterness, very juicy, little sweet, some citrus, nice stuff! Aftertaste: a bit hoppy, juicy, papaya, mango, peaches, nice bitter finish.

Can. Tescozers. 5%. Fully hazy, orange gold (aren’t they all?). Froth of white. Nose has soggy fruit. Milk. Smelly yeast. Some sweet grapefruit. Taste is dry and light bitter. Fairly clean mouthfeel. Brisk carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. Pretty good at £1.80 a pop.
