This refreshing lager is super balanced, using Aussie grown, Japanese inspired ingredients.Taking a leaf from sake brewing, we innoculate this small batch beer with koji spores. This breaks down the complex sugars, resulting in a bone dry, thirst quenching body. A lashing of Australian hops are used to compliment yuzu from Victoria's high country and koshihikari rice from the Riverina region of NSW

Edge Yuzu Koji Rice Lager 5.1% Aussie beer bought on sale online as I like Yuzu. Golden with an orange edge and nice Yuzu aroma but even better earthy Yuzu zest flavor. For me the dryness is too strong and detracts from the enjoyment. Cool to get one of those cans where the whole top comes off though.

Yuzu. Some lager. I mean, looks like I couldn't be bothered with notes at this stage

Quarantinnie. Very pale orange w a raft of large white bubbles that's gone in seconds. Striking zesty yuzu aroma. The beer underneath shows a little sweetness but little body. It just allows the yuzu to gradually fade towards a dry and modestly bitter finish. Refreshing.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big yuzu, light lemon lime, floral citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, crisp, herbal, juicy yuzu, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A great beer if you appreciate Yuzu!
