On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong oak, apple skin, wheat. Thin body, oak, stone fruit, nice tartness, low acidity, really enjoyed this.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color. Notes of apricots, strawberries, grapes; strong acidity, with aggressive lemon notes, but enough body to support all.
Elegant, aggressive. Excellent.

Cloudy, pale, no head. The aroma The aroma has a peachy, lychee fruit note, showing lots of tartness and a bit of wild complexity. Sweet sugary fruits, and a clean tartness. Has a touch of barrelly character.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite effervescent, with lots of funky wild yeast, some apricots and other stone fruits, and a nice champagne-y quality. Flavour is dynamic and well-structured, with lots of oak barrels, wild yeast and pungent apricots / stone fruits. Just the right amount of acidity, with a touch of an acetic quality. Expertly blended. Excellent.

Thank you Mathieu87 + PriorL for the effort! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Samson en Geert Bierproef Avond. Saw no specific mention of batch front, says just B16. Very bright hazy golden with zero head. Nose is nice mellow lactic profile, lightly acidic, zest, lemon, sour profile is similar to the other 3 Rare Barrel beers tried at this tasting. Taste is strongly lactic going to acidic, burns a bit in the throat, nice puckering profile, acid burn, lemon, vinegar. Hugely sour & puckering, simple but very pleasant sour profile. Body is massively lactic, acidic. Simple, pleasing good. Liked it quite a bit more than the first blend.
