Bottle. Pours clear reddish chestnut, medium beige-tan head, dissipates leaving nice residual and lacing. Aroma is malty and a bit dusty, Belgian yeast, spices, candi sugars, raisin, fig. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, lingering malty spiciness. Medium body. Well crafted.

Growler from Grove Wine and Spirits in Yardville, NJ. Pours a dark brown color with a small creamy beige head. Rich toasted malt nose redolent of dark dried fruits and alcohol. Intensely rich, tangy dried fruit and yeast flavor. Notes of cocoa, plums and sour cherries come to mind. Noticeable alcohol warmth as well. Chewy mouthfeel. Dry port-like finish. Better as it warms.

Thank you Benzai! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting. Dark brown mocha amber, little head. Nose is extremely sugary, sweet mocha, molasses, red grape, candy, very sweet, syrupy, low cough syrup. Taste is very sweet grape sugar, alcoholic, boozy, sugar, cooked pear. Body is all sugar, cloying very sweet. Bit too sweet, cloying, sticky but good.

18/XI/16 - 75cl bottle @ Seb's Farewell Tasting (Eugene's place) - BB: n/a (2016-1337) Thanks to Benzai for sharing the bottle!
Clear purple brown beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, lots and lots of banana, sugary, sweet, caramel, more ripe banana, alcohol, coffee touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of yeast, sweet, ripe banana, malty, pretty bitter, alcohol, bit sourish. Aftertaste: alcohol, lots of it, sweet, overripe banana, some caramel, not too complex, it seems to me.

The sacred heart..we shall see. Bottle thanks to Steven. Pours a ruddy brown color with a large beige head. A big estery fruit and sugary nose. Dusty, caramel, big brown sugar, huge strawberries, some dark chocolate. Really drinks heavy like a liquor but is still drinkable. Quite nice.
