Bottle from hauxe, Euro Swap 19/3, many thanks! Pours deep brown with an off-white head. Nose is sweet notes of malts, booze and bourbon. Taste is sweet again, showing booze, bourbon, faint woody notes, low vanilla. Tasty, but a bit one dimension and too thin.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, chesnut colour with ruby shimmer and minimally late awakening, small, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. BA overlain, caramel malty aroma, notes of oak and vanilla, some tannic aspects, some nutty aspects. Taste is slightly dry, caramel and dark malty, minimally tart-ish, tannic, oaky, hints of caramel, a touch of toffee, vanilla, raisin, sultana, vinegar and morello. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally astringent, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Passably balanced and diversified, relatively thin and light - not bad.

Brown with a fading, frothy head. Very sweet aroma with lots of caramel on top of oak. Dank and wet oak that’s begun to, well, rot. Whiskey underneath. Taste is pleasant, sweet but not so much as the aroma would indicate. Definitely a dessert beer though with rising bourbon on the backside. Pleasant, with the bourbon complementing the bock instead of overwhelming it. Medium to full bodied, lightly sticky, mild carbonation. Not the mostly appealing aroma but otherwise good.

Bottle from rhoihessegold in the RB Euro Swap 2020/01 - Cheers! Thin milk coloured head left a thin cover on a mahogany coloured still body. Red wine, oak & tannin aroma. Medium bodied, tingly on the front with a light clean back. Malt demerara, woody, vinous, jam & sweet berry tastes. Sipper

Many thanks to Rhoihessegold for this 33cl bottle! Nice bourbon woody nose. The beer starts mild and smooth. The woody whisky is in the back, malty smooth with a nice malty soft texture. Chocolate grain with woody soft vanilla whisky. Smooth mild and well-balanced aftertaste. Very nice, very soft with only hints of the spirit in the back.

31-12-18 // bottle shared. Thanks to a friend. A bourbon BA aged beer from my region which is acutally quite nice. A sweetish malty Bock beer body. Caramel, roasted malts. Then a good amount of bourbon flavours. Good.
