Can from Tesco, bought as it was reduced to 78p. It's only on opening have I discovered my error..... Nose is lemon juice, yeast, bread, nan bread, musty and damp. Taste is lemon juice and a hint of grapefruit. It doesn't work I'd choose a sparking water over this.

Can from Tesco, Brooklands. Tart citrus betrayed by sweaty socks and damp cardboard underlying the aroma. Hazy pale gold. Creamy translucent white head. Light bitter but this is dominated by slightly saccharine sugary sour lemon juice. Boiled veg comes through into the finish. Light bodied. Slick if thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Odd stuff. Tastes more like some sort of sugar free bitter lemonade than a IPA. Tastes artificial to boot.

330ml can @ DryJan beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan '20. Clear gold appearance, foamy white head. Surprisingly sweet, a little tangy, lemon-lead, but apparently no fruit involved. Not bad I guess.

Can from Tesco. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and lemon jelly. Flavour of bitter lemon and an artificial tangy finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It smells better than it tastes, but overall it’s a pretty ambitious non alcohol beer that works well. The tangy finish is just a touch cloying.

27th Jan 2020. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, our first ever 'no alcohol' tasting. 39 different beers, we managed 26 before we bloated ourselves out, this was beer number 15. 330ml can brewed at de Proef; BB 26th Sep 2020. Pours a hazy gold, white head. This is a sweet one with very little hop action.

330ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, slightly disguised doughy yeasty background, notes of lemon, lemon peel. Taste is citrusy and tropical fruity, slightly artificially sweet, hints of grape sugar, powdered sugar, mango juice, lemon, lemon peel, a touch of passion fruit, citric acid tartness, unripe gooseberry, kiwi fruit; minimally perfumed, minimally watery. Far from a real Hazy IPA, but quite refreshing. Not too bad a try on pimping an alcohol-free beer.

Can from Tesco. Slightly hazy cold, with a big, but short-lived, white head. Malty aroma. Lots of tropical fruit flavour, some lemon sharpness, thin malts and a sweet, juicy, finish. Strange, but drinkable in a soft drink sort of way.
