Bright clear gold beer, tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Fairly smooth but fairly dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Fairly thin but dry sweet malts, a thin creamy malts. A nicely fruity vibe with which the fennel blends well. A modest salinity. Light dry finish. A bit flat and sweet for a Gose but the core flavour is fine.

330 ml bottle. Cloudy dark golden, quickly disappearing head. Lactic acid, barnyard, citrus, sea salt, iron, Harzer Roller cheese. Acidic sourness. Light bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry finish. Okay.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy, citrusy, overall rather typical gose aroma, hints of lemon, lemon peel, no obvious hints of fennel. Taste is tart, tangy, spicy, quite citrusy, notes of lemon, lemon peel, a salty touch, cautious hints of fennel not until the finish. Nice.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks simple. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Spicy aroma. Starts intense herbal-grasy, notes of some medicine. Finish milder, more balanced, grasy-spicy. Quite interesting!

03-01-20 // RB tasting with erzengel and beerhunter111. Slightly unclear/unfiltered golden. Nose is mild lactic with fennel. Classic gose style with a nice fennel spice aroma, mustardy and lactic sourness but subtle.

0.33 l bottle from 'Vormann Brauerei', best before August 2021. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, a bit sourish, gently fruity and a bit herbal aroma of sauerkraut, rhubarb, some lemon and maybe traces of fennel. Minimally sweet, gently sour, moderately fruity and minimally herbal taste of rhubarb, sauerkraut, some fennel and a bit of lemon, followed by a short, gently tart, minerally-salty and a bit herbal finish. Almost medium-bodied, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pretty decent Gose.
