Bottle thanks to roylefkowitz, shared during the Homer "welcome to Cali" tasting. Pours a hazy reddish amber, with a small off-white head that dissipates leaving decent lacing. Aroma is heavy stone fruit; peaches, skins and pits, tart oaky tannins, a bit of Brett funkiness. Flavor is light sweet initially, transitioning to light tart with just a bit of funk, stone fruits and a bit of basement. Medium body, soft champagnelike carbonation. Nice beer.

Thanks ineedbeer. Pours a brownish dusky red color. Darker than expected. Quite cloudy. Little to no head. Absolutely no bubbles after a minute. A bit of chunkiness. Aroma is tart raspberries, underripe stone fruit, vinegar. Fairly acetic. Some vanilla. There’s some peach/nectarine sweetness but it’s mild. Big acetic note in the taste. Quite sour. Stone fruit, berries and grapes, all very tart. Nothing is terribly well defined. Some malt character knocking around. Quite dry. Tons of pucker. Tiny bit of body. I wish there was more fruit character to this beer. The acetic sourness dominates for me. Still, it’s good, just not great.

Aroma is fairly acidic with a definite acetic character. Moderate oak notes with medium light fruitiness. Some cherry pie and pineapple notes from Brett. Pours a slightly cloudy, copper amber color with a medium sized, thin white head that recedes quickly to the edges. Small legs and faint lacing. Flavor is fairly acidic with a lot of tart cherry and berry character. Medium oak notes. Fair amount of acetic acid. Only light peach and nectarine character, which is hidden behind the acidity. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Medium low, acidic astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, am alright beer but I was hoping for something with a bit less harsh acidity and more fruit character. Oak notes are well balanced and integrated, but acidity is a bit harsh and acetic.
