500 ml. bottle sampled thanks to tderoeck! Super pale golden, little white golden. Nose is off-putting skunky mineral watery apple, oily, lemon cleaning agent. Taste is oily irons, sweet falt awful apple, faint skunk. Near flat, very watery, unpleasant off-putting oily rotting apple notes. Really bad even by country tick standards.

Thnx to Tderoeck. Pours is clear blond and wattery. Smell is medicinal, avg maltysweetness from a lager, and some apples. Taste is malty, bit sweet, not very natural.

9/IV/16 - 50cl bottle from ... shit, I forgot @ home - BB: 15/XII/15 (2016-329) Thanks to the very kind person who helped me reach my 126th country tick!

Note: I feel really guilty not remembering who got me this gem... I do know I've been waiting for an occasion to share this with other country tickers as well. In any case, thanks a mill!
Clear pale yellowish beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: grains, bit weird, musty, wet grains. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty start, some citrus, little chemical, sweet touch. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bit sugary, some banana, yeast touch.

Many thanks to Travlr for this bottle! Grainy nose. The beer starts rough and grainy. Hints of sweetness in the back, very dry with a strange sharp aroma. The body is not too smooth, sweetish-round, the aftertaste is short, not much bitterness, grainy with a strange sweetness.

Premium lager from Uganda allegedly brewed with water from the Nile, thanks to Dorian and Sabine! From a 50 cl bottle. First time I see artificially added carbon dioxide explicitly mentioned on the label; "maize grits" are also mentioned - at least this brewery is honest about that, which does gain my sympathy. Pours a very light yellowish blonde, paler than average, with a slight greenish hue and lively fizz, sustaining a regularly shaped, moussy, snow white, nicely lacing head with pretty good retention. Simple and typical neutral ’macro lager’ aroma of popcorn, iron, some (even rotting) grass, white bread, soap. Sweetish grainy taste, obvious corn but some pleasantly bready pale malts as well, thin and metallic, bit watery body with medium carbonation, dull sourish accent, finishing in only mildly bittering grassy hops, which, however subtle they are, do provide a little bit of balance against the grain sweetness and lay a thin resiny coat on the back of the mouth cavity along with a subtle, slightly rubbery chemical wryness, though the ending remains watery. Straightforward, thin and bland, that is clear, but this is still a bit better than I had expected. I can imagine this being very quenching on a hot day in central Africa and I must say I had much worse tropical lagers than this. Interesting country tick too, of course.
