375ml bottle, as Brut 2020, aged in Chardonnay barrel. From MBC. Poured golden in color, thin white head. Funky, barnyard aroma, grapes, Belgian yeasty notes. Fairly dry and woody flavor, funk, floral notes, grapes. Dry, full bodied, citrus peel. Easy, enjoyable to drink despite the high abv.

Süffiger, holzig alkoholischer Beginn. Helles Malz, deutlich steigender Alkohol, moderat bitter. Trocken, etwas Weißwein, der starke Alkohol stört. Herb süßlicher Mittelteil, hellmalzig, langer Abgang. 6/10/8/12/12/10

(tap 0,2l @ Malt Worm (Brno)) Overall: Nice sourish ale. Dangerously drinkable. Fruity-grapes with alcohol kick. Aroma: Light sourish, leather, fruity-grapes. Appearance: Golden. Persistent white head. Taste: Medium sweet, light sour, fruity-grapes. Later some alcohol. Palate: Medium body. Light sticky texture. Light warm finish.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, medium off-white head, dissipates leaving decent lacing. Aroma is initially a bit buttery, I guess the chardonnay plus oak? Tannic, oaky, Bretty funk, earthy, musty. Flavor is dry, oaky and tannic, medium Bretty funk, lingering light tartness. Medium body.

Dull golden colour with small head. Smell of armpit, foot, malt, old clothes, wet wood. Ok body, moderately sweet, woody and vegetable notes, with vegetable bitterness; cardboard. Weird and messy, not pleasant.

Bottle - Bit of sweet malt, candy and a touch of ketchup. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Sweet, bitter and malty. Much( too old to be good.

Amber. Slight haze. Thin head. The aroma has a lot of floral notes, seems of unknown vintage, and it's toasty, bitter, the hops not coming across bright. There's alcohol, toasty, a LOT of wood. I don't know. Was this turding too long? It's just not as bright and yummy as this should be, given the Mikkeller Nelson heritage. Expected more.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is quite musty, with some dry floral hops, a touch of Chardonnay, and some yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of musty, feet-like notes, a touch of wine yeast and funk. Musty and feet-like. This isn't living up to its prevailing ratings.

[5/14/18] Draught at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade in Copenhagen. Cloudy amber. Lots of wine, caramel, oak, spiciness, caramel, a bit of butterscotch, a bit sweetish, a bit sourish, a bit bitterish, alcohol. OK, but not my thing.
