Bottle. Color: Dark brown, light brown frothy head. Taste: Roasted malt, smooth, hints of caramel. Mostly medium sweet, very little bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation. Very easy drinkable, softness is tending to British beers.

Bottle. Black with a beautiful head. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa and dark chocolate. Taste is the same plus some hops in the aftertaste. Velvety and balanced. A straight and easy drinking but flavourful Schwarzbier. One of my go to beers.

Kicsit festékmalátás, de azért néha felsejlik a szotyi, karamellizáció fellelhető benne, édeskés-malátás.

Dit bier is donker bruin van kleur, met bruinschuim. De smaak is tarwe achtig. Niet lekker.

Flesje gedronken op 15 mei 2016. Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met matig schuim. Schuim trekt snel weg. Het heeft een aroma van karamel (gebrande mout) en fruit. In de smaak komt de karamel meer naar boven. Drinkt licht weg. Best OK.

Pours virtually black from the bottle with just the faintest reddish tinge. The head foams to finger thick before quickly losing cohesion. The aroma is roasted malt and bitter chocolate with light floral hints. Taste is sour up front, with minimal malt sweetness, then delves into a coffee laced finish. It goes through the motions but I would hesitate to call the overall range of flavor as rich or nuanced. The body trends light, and while not exactly watery, has a lame, flaccid character that feels off. Part of the problem is the carbonation, of which there is too little, leaving the beer a stale feel that does not sit well, particularly near the backend of the bottle. Drinkable if better is not at hand.
