The Gauloise Ambrée is characterized by a hoppy aroma. It will give you a range of varied flavors. It is highly digestible and refreshing. This beer with its reddish robe is a little more dense than the blonde, with a more voluptuous side. The nose is marked with hints of hazelnut, caramel, orange and fruity hops. The mouth’s slight bitternes linked to the subtle liquorice, allows the pleasure to last longer. The finish is round, supple, without sweetness.

Voici une ambrée quelconque qui ne devrait pas retenir votre attention. Le visuel est sur une ambré parfaitement limpide, une effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanche de 5 mm d'épaisseur. Le nez, sur un cocktail caramel, pain et candy, n'est pas des plus emballant... En bouche rien de mieux avec heureusement une amertume qui donne un peu de fraicheur. C'est plat et sans réel intérêt. Si l'intensité est bonne le final est quant à lui trop court. Quelconque.

Bottled at Goblet ZG. Hazy full amber body, off-white head. Lean orange notes, yeasty, malty, sweetish. Lean, dry taste, citric, bit yeasty, miiildly tart, pleasant enough!

Flaska från SB. Stiltypisk ambrée. Värmande alkohol, jäst, fruktig med äpple, päron och estrar. Måttlig sötma, lätt beska, lätt kryddig med lite anis. Ok

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med vitt skum. Brödig och örtkryddig doft. Torr inledning och lätt karamellig, i smaken. Något fyllig och lätt eldig munkänsla.

Bottle from Systembolaget Lillänge. Slight smell of sweet nail polish. Murky dark brown colour. Very Belgian tasting which is nice but not quite holding together.
