The Gauloise Ambrée is characterized by a hoppy aroma. It will give you a range of varied flavors. It is highly digestible and refreshing. This beer with its reddish robe is a little more dense than the blonde, with a more voluptuous side. The nose is marked with hints of hazelnut, caramel, orange and fruity hops. The mouth’s slight bitternes linked to the subtle liquorice, allows the pleasure to last longer. The finish is round, supple, without sweetness.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear amber-red, huge off-white head. Some generic fruit sweetness in the aroma, light spicy notes. The tastes is moderately sweet, malts (some DMS?), a tad watery in the middle, light spicy bitterness with some bread crust notes. Mediocre.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a medium off-white head, lots of carbonation. Mild yeasty aroma, some malty notes and a bit wheaty. Sweet taste, some wheaty quality and some spices. Lightly soury in the finish. Nothing special, really.

zapach słodowy, świeżego chleba, lekko drożdżowy, zdecydowanie dziki, wieś, legendarna końska derka i nuta białych winogron. bursztynowy, klarowny kolor, bardzo obfita piana która dość długo się utrzymuje. w smaku pełne, słodowe, silnie drożdżowe i dzikie. lekko ostre. goryczka niewielka i wyczuwalna dopiero później, ale czysta i przyjemna - ziołowa. trochę zielone w smaku. nasycenie raczej wysokie.

Bottle 0.33l (11.08.2016). Amber colour with white frothy head. Very good lacing. Aroma is malty, fresh, juicy with characteristic belgian note, quite nice. Beer is malty, a bit sweet with spices in taste with minimal bitterness. Medium body, fizzy - too much for me. Aftertaste is bitter and sweet with small juicy and sour finish, not long and quite nice. Generally nice malty and juicy beer with characteristic belgian taste made by yeast. Sometimes it’s good to taste something else, instead beers with american hops.

Wallonian ’spéciale belge’ with regular, sticky, off-white, relatively stable head and pure amber colour with some clouds, completely hazy after adding deposit. Aroma of orange peel, green apple, walnuts, lime, coriander, pepper, straw and a smoky accent. Grainy and light caramelly main taste, refreshing citrus touch, drying towards the finish, medium hopped, quite long.
