The Gauloise Ambrée is characterized by a hoppy aroma. It will give you a range of varied flavors. It is highly digestible and refreshing. This beer with its reddish robe is a little more dense than the blonde, with a more voluptuous side. The nose is marked with hints of hazelnut, caramel, orange and fruity hops. The mouth’s slight bitternes linked to the subtle liquorice, allows the pleasure to last longer. The finish is round, supple, without sweetness.

cloudy amber colour, huge beige-ish head;aroma of intensive fruitiness (raisin, figs, maybe some peach), honey and floral hops; taste of fruitiness, some honey, grassy and floral hops - much less convincing than the aroma, but still a good ale

0,33L bottle, BB 22.02.2015. Pours clear amber with off white head. The head stays. Aroma is apples, fresh fruits, sourness, and perfumy. Taste is fruity, sweet and sour, malt, caramel, little watery, and moderate bitterness. Overall: ok Belgian, rather light for the ABV.

Standard Belgian amber. Caramelised malt, some fruit and a mild hoppiness. Had it all before.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy rich amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, flowers, and hops. Hints of perfume. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sourish notes of dried fruit and citrus. Lively carbonation. Bitter finish. Rather boring but definitely drinkable.

Bottle, 5.5%. Soapy aroma, not perfumy, just soapy. Almost clear reddish amber colour. Big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is rather anonymous, but clean. Creamy, slightly caramelly. Medium bitterness.

Bottled 330ml. -from www.beershop.hr. Rated on Pivkan. Dark golden/amber coloured, medium to big off-white head, mild yeasty hoppy nose. Sweet malty, fruity, yeasty and mild hoppy with hint of citrus (oranges) in the finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Clear amber with a puffy white head. Aroma is toasty with a little plum and spices. Quite sweet and bready but not heavy, apples and plums, with a drying slightly bitter finish that features a little iron along with gentle spices. Solid quaffer.

24/VIII/13 - 33cl bottle @ Bierweekend Lambiekstoempers (Alsemberg) - BB: n/a (2013-803) Thanks to T. for sharing today's beers!

Clear orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: oranges, tangerines, citrus, bit sugary, est. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: oranges, bit sweet, citrus, zesty touch, little bitter and hoppy. Aftertaste: toast, grains, orange peel, soft bitterness. Correct beer, yet pretty boring.
