Pours a beautiful clear copper with full white head. Malt overpowers and the Cascade is lost. Very faint hop characteristics.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark amber, creamy off-white head. Nose is sweet old yeast, sugar, old medicinal yeast notes. Taste is old yeast, herbal, dull plaster, stale medicine. Body is old yeast & plaster. Meh, ‘though feels old.

Light copper color with soapy head and retention. Aroma is very herbal without much else showing. Medium to lighter in body with a lingering herbal finish that hangs for a good duration after the sip. Could this resumable a healing tonic from the early part of the 1900’s? perhaps, simple, straight forward and well made.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a dark orange appearance with a creamy colored head. Caramel, toasted malty aroma with some grassy / stalky notes. Pretty sweet flavor. Chewy herbal flavor. Some caramel and grass. Pass.

Draught at the brew pub, SF.Amber looks with a small white head. Sweet malt, citrus, and restrained piney hop in the nose and flavour. Gently bitter finish. Crisp and drinkable enough but more interesting pickings to be found at the other end of Haight methinks.
