Bottle shared with RJ. Pithy, a touch nutty even, somewhat sweet upfront only to close with a firm tannic touch, quite rich for the abv

Bottle 750ml @ My sister´s place. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of sweet red apple and vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and light sour with a long sweet apple and vanilla finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Clear golden. Slightly cheesy and funky aroma with baked apples and a buttery note, starts with lightly sweetish apple, later dries, turns slightly sourish with some oak, green apples. Not bad.

75cl bottle from Whole Foods, Kensington High St. Clear gold appearance. Aroma of stewed caramelised apple fruit. Taste builds on this with a wonderfully fresh, blossoming keeved fruit character, rich apple fruit with pleasant brown sugar notes. Excellent Normandy cidre.

750ml at Phill's place that exploded when Matt opened it. Appearance: hazy golden with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma: nice bold sweet red 🍎, more like I would expect from the ice cider. Taste: moderately sweet, a bit dry red apples. Overall: good one.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Sweet baked apple aroma. Taste is very soft, apple, spice, oak. Quite nice, but the taste doesn't live up to the aroma.

Yellowish-amber colour. There's a lot of spicy depth to the aroma, smells more like an ice cider, but it's nothing like that. After exploding out of the bottle, it's got less of that spiciness, baked apple accents, and a soft finish with just a hint of tartness.

750mL bottle, explodes upon opening — must've lost 1/4 of the bottle... fuck — pours a clear golden with a quickly-dissipating white head. Nose is wonderfully funky, with signature barnyard funk, effervescent apple skins, wild yeast, and bone dry oakiness. Flavour is beautifully funky, with soft apple skins, rustic notes, oak, and soft apple core. Lovely funk that is not too aggressive. There's more sweetness on this than the regular French cider, but still works. Soft and complex. Not on the level I'd hoped, but it's pretty tasty.
