Bottle. Dark amber color. Licorice and rye in the aroma. Rye bread, licorice and hints of red fruit in the flavor. Questionable balance. Not my favorite.

Bottle 330ml (SIP)
Dark ruby color, medium-sized beige, creamy head, some lace. Aroma has rye, toasted malts, oak and vanilla. Medium-bodied. Malty, slighlty sweetish, toasted, ryeish flavor (kvass feeling). Even a bit yeasty. Light coffee and hops in the finish. Oak chips are there but do not dominate the flavor. Ok.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, chestnut colour with average, frothy to macropore, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Waxy, slightly fruity and spicy aroma, hints of blueberry, liquorice, stearin, coniferes. Taste is moderately sweet, herbal and spicy, notes of honey, hints of coniferes, liquorice, blueberry, a waxy touch throughout.

Clear medium amber colour, tall and thick frothy beige head, good retention and lacing. Sweet roasty aroma, malts, caramel, overripe fruits. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, fruity, toffee, raisins. Sweetbitter aftertaste, bit dusty, medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, decent.

Bottle shared by Erwin van Moll @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear beautiful red color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, caramel, some overripe fruits. Taste malts, rye, overripe fruits, caramel, raisins. Medium body and carbonation. Ok, but not really my kind of beer. Too much caramel and dark fruits.

Clear dark brown colour. Flavour is typically earthy, bready from the rye. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Dark red amber, little tanned head. Nose is low leaves, sugar, touch blue cheese hops, low cellar, quite strong rye bread. Nose is low cheese, bit too neutral tasting, basic bread, sugar & rye, leaves, burned sugar. Dark bread & sugar body. Not bad but a bit too bland for me.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 01.06.2016.

330 ml bottle at home, thanks to VamboladeTolly! Light hazy dark amber to copper color with beige head. Malty aroma, caramel, light bready, fruity, berries, light citrusy too, some hoppy grassy notes. Light sweet and light bitter taste like aroma, like aroma with some licorice notes in the beginning. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
