Very good cream-beige head, dense and stable, leaving textbook lace over red-shot dark brown beer. Sweetish caramel-toffee nose, roasted grains, slight coffee. Bitter, hoppy, near-metallic taste. Ground coffee powder. Again a tad metallic (stannum?) Very slick, near chewy; creamy-velvety texture; well-carbonated. Long bitterish aftertaste, with just a touch of stout acidity. Good brown beer, pleasing.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Dark brown, little head. Nose is massive licorice, touch chicory & herbs. Taste is massive licorice, cheap herbal coffee, leaves, touch pralines, dash chocolate in the back. Slick body. Basically just lots & lots of licorice. Not a bad beer but I am just not really into licorice.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts strong, malty, like smokey notes. A bit woody-earthy. Light metallically background. Finish less dry, warming-malty. Nice!
