Bottle from Embrouille - thank you so much! Opens with a deafening plop and pours hazy very dark amber with stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, cinnamon and fruit. Sweet, malty and fruity flavour, with notes of cloves and cinnamon. Discernible but unobtrusive alcohol presence. Sweetish, fruity finish, with bitter notes of alcohol. Well-balanced and agreeable. Very nice.

Bottle with mR_fr0g at his place (thanks to my girlfriend for bringing it back from Switzerland) on 12 October. Poured a dark brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, brown sugar and prunes. Molasses flavour with spicy cloves and orange peal. Finishes with dry grain, spice and pine needles.

Bottle at home. The beer is clear with a deep reddish brown color and is topped with a light beige, medium head. The beer has an aroma of dried fruit, Belgian yeast, oak, leather, licorice and a little alcohol, woods and spices reminiscent of nutmeg. A highly interesting aroma. The taste is different, but with more sweet and compact. In addition, the taste of chocolate and roasted malt. Mouth feel is smooth and has a light to medium bitterness. A really complex and tasty beer.

God duft av druer, rosiner og andre frukter. Mørk brun farge. Tynt skum langs kant. God smak av rosiner med en litt syrlig smak.

Pours dark brown with a large fading head.Nose shows heavy brett with spices and a bit of chocolate.Similar flavours. Acidic notes, chocolate, lemon. A bit weird, in regards to having the brett in with the richer, darker malt. Doesn’t quite work.Carbonation seems a bit excessive.
