This tentacled terminator packs a punch - ten punches to be precise. Each hop addition adds to the intense layers of depth in this red rye IPA. Toasty caramel & cinder toffee from crystal malts, cacao richness from intensely roasted malt and the spiciness of rye. Zesty pithiness from citra and the robust resin of chinook. This small batch exclusive brew is up-front intensity matched with twisted complexity.

Bottle from BrewDog. Now this is something, lovely rye IPA, which will not amaze you in look or aroma, but taste gives you anything you need. Bitter rye heaven.

330ml can. Pours deep reddy brown with a frothy beige head. Aroma features a lot of rye, caramel, resin, citrus fruits, touch of roasted malt. Taste of spicy rye, grainy, caramel, roasted malt, toffee, citrus fruits, pine resin, a little sweet with a bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. An excellent IPA where the rye and other malts really shine and are complemented nicely by the hops.

Can shared. Pours dark amber with rich off-white head, medium body, good lacing, dry bitter finish and strong bitter aftertaste. Resin, citrus peel hops along with caramel, roasted malts, toffee. A very balanced, very intense, rich and surprising IPA. Take it slow, and let it reveal its magic. Great!
