From tap at Magnolia, San Francisco. Aroma has notes of berries including some strawberries, hops, biscuity malt, light caramel with some buttery notes. Flavour is sweetish with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Very different, fairly likeable, despite the buttery notes.

12 ounce can from ABV. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity toast and certainly I get some butter in it. Lots of floating particulates in it, which also seems amiss. The flavor is certainly buttery, orange peel, vanilla, butterscotch. Not the worst diacetyl but something is way off. Sweet sticky flavor. Pretty bad. Bitter and buttery.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy orange, creamy white. Nose is milky butter, buttery dough, sugar, popcorn. Taste is milky yeast, plaster, dough, sugar, stone fruit, more butter. Butter & plaster body. Way too heavy on the butter & milky yeast. Score looks decent here. Bad keg maybe?

On tap at the Haigh Street brewpub. Thanks to Bobby. Mostly clear yellow golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is spicy hop, little zesty, some veg hop matter. Flavour is composed of grainy Base malts, watermelons, semi sweet apple. Palate is medium bodied, highish carbonation . Decent IPA. Nice spicy hop and watermelon.

Tap. Pours quite hazy orange Amber, medium creamy off white head, super creamy head with thick lacing. Aroma is very piney, some grapefruit, light caramel. Flavor follows, fairly bitter, light plus sweet. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Definitely old school, but not bad for what it is.
