Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a decent beige head. Aroma: Lovely fruity esters, toasted malt, toffee, dried dates, figs, raisins, light nail polish, some hop/ Taste: Rather dry. Toasted malt, toffee, dried dates, figs, raisins, light nail polish, esters, spicy hop, warming alcohol. Light plus ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, sift to average carbonation. Overall: High class.

Dark brown colour with ruby hue, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma and taste of coffee, chocolate, some sour cherry, burnt sugary and ash notes; good one

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma reveals a classic, complex Belgian yeast expression, with lots of dark dried fruits (raisins, especially), subtle esters, some brown sugar, and a touch of toffee. Flavour is spicy, dry and malty, with a real nice, spicy, Belgian yeast expression, dried out brown sugar, dried fruits dark fruits, toffee, bready malt, and a subtle floral tinge. Sweetness is very low for the style, which works well in this case. Carbonation is high but fitting for the style. Excellent.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of raisins, figs, orange zest, dark caramel, and bready malts. Flavors follow same with a little mineral water and dark fruity esters. Nice

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Very dark brown beer lasting tan head. Malty flavour somewhat like a dubbel quad cross over. It's OK malty strong Belgian ale. decent enough.

Thanks to Hans Peter. Plums with chewing gum in the nose. The beers starts very fruity, hints of Belgium Yeast. Deep caramelly with pears and bitterness. Nice but interesting. Burned finish, grainy sugary with a slightly chewigummy finish.
