250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Deep hazy peach orange. Nose is nice floral hops, hay, below all of that there is light overripe peach, dash exotic but mainly floral & hay bitter hops with quite a bit of yeast. Taste is mellow white bread & yeast, touch too sweetish & yeast forward, chewy yeast, faint overripe peach, finish goes into strong floral bitterness, bitter hay, floral, really dries out after a while,… Yeasty body & massively dry. Very nice taken on its own but feels almost a bit like a bit less balance & bit overly yeasty, touch too sweetish upfront version of some of their other blond beers. Good but I would expect even better from De La Senne.

Several glasses, special keg draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas 6th anniversary bash.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas Brussels . Blond hoppy beer. Again a bit perfumed. Utterly soft and drinkable but the hop is definitely perfumed. Very drinkable body but a tad too many hops.

Draught @ Akkurat. Notes of mango, orange cest and yeast. A superbly drinkable beer with a elegant quenching bitterness and dryness in the end. More of this please!

On tap at Akkurat. Aroma is fruity with some nice citrus hop notes but also some over ripe pear and light peach notes. Light phenolic coriander notes. Medium light biscuit and cracker with some faint toasted bread. Pours a hazy, dull copper brown with a big, pillowy, moderateky thick, white head that exhibits great retention. High lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly dry upfront with a medium light sweetness towards the finish. Biscuit and cracker notes with some light honey. Medium fruit notes, again over ripe pear, some light red apple and some stone fruit. Medium to medium high bitterness. Some citrus and pineapple. Light coriander phenolic notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice Belgian IPA that does a good job of blending the Belgian yeast character with the hops. Malt profile is noticeable, but light and not a caramel bomb.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy copper with medium head. Aroma of hops, citrus, grass and some yeast. Similar taste. The body was medium and the finish fairly dry and bitter. A descent one.

Draught. Hazy light amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of earth, fresh hops, white pepper, jenka, lemon peel and grain. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of lemon, grain, bread and white pepper. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Awesome. Drinkable and hoppy. Really showcases Senne’s house yeast well.
