On tap at 100 pív Hmm. What say. Classic IIPA without surprises? It's certainly German, no fun but makes job done.

Tap at 100 piv. Slightly boozy, the alcohol poking out, but not too much though. Moderate body, though the warmth makes it seem even a little more. Moderate carbonation. Generic fruity overripe citrusy character. Good but not great.

Bottle picked up from REAL, Freising and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Thursday 9th May 2019 whilst making Crusted Chicken and Chorizo Paella and listening to Roundtable on Steve Lamaq on 6 Music. Pours hazy dark gold/light amber with a large sticky white head. The aroma suggests strength, and it's a pokey number. Thick in the mouth, piney a little syrupy (in a good way). Really hoppy bitter but balanced by a nice soft malty backbone. Very good.

Clear amber, offwhite froth. Pine and mild grapefruit and caramel aroma. Caramely flavour with light piney bitterness. Smooth and quite drinkable but a little too one dimensional.
