Choulette Ambrée is the result of a rigorous selection of special aromatic malts which give it a good caramel taste. Red, with coppery reflections, dense ivory foam, this beer exudes an aroma rich in notes of prune.

Old notes from 2015 - Second beer of the day at Het Kasteelhof in Cassel, Northern France. Pours a amber colour with a slight tanned head. Aromas of caramel & flowers. Tastes of spicy caramel with hints of burnt sugar as well as apple fruitiness. The high alcohol content is slightly warming but not at all easy to drink.

Bottle:Bière de Garde a style never copied outside of France, in Belgium they called Saison, and just this good looking amber coloured beer with coriander spices in it is just great.

Caramel, toffee, brown sugar, low bitterness, some nutty flavors, decent stuff.
