From Liebling Getränk, Germering, a powerful black IPA, almost a stout, a powerful side of roasted malt and vanilla, right bitterness, 02.08.19, drinking it at Bonfol.

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with a beige head. Nose is lightly fruity, somewhat resinous hoppy with a cocoa touch. Taste is beautiful balance between chocolate, cocoa powder and lightly to moderately bitter hops with a touch of booze. Long lasting dry, warming, slighlty sweet and slightly bitter finish. Dig the balance here.

Bottle at home. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, roast, coffee, pine, some chocolate, grass, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Lovely citrus piney roasty Black IPA, definitely on the fruity hoppy side of the style.

Very dark brown with thin soapy head. Dark roasted malt and hints of coffee. Quite a floral and piney hop bitterness too.
