Sampled @ Pint Winterbierfestival Gouda, 2016. Nice deep dark red to red-brown color, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, caramel, sweet. Tastes about the same: malts, caramel, sweet, lightly alcohol. Medium body and carbonation. Quite decent.

Bottle sampled at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Clear brown with small off white head. Cardboard, brown sugar, caramel, some spices, and also some raw leafy vegetables unfortunately. Quite sweet and under medium bitter. Under medium bodied with slick feel and low carbonation. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing special either.

Thank you for sharing people! Sampled bottled @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Dark amber, cough syrup looking with no head. Nose is overly sweet fish guts & cough syrup. Taste is very cloying with herbal & big cough syrup notes, fish, licorice,… Low carbonation, fish guts body. Very one note with those flavours, a hard one to drink. Not really my thing.

From bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda 2016. Clear, dark reddish brown, no head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of raisins, prunes and caramel. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity taste of raisins, prunes and caramel, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, slightly sourish finish. Medium body, slightly creamy to effervescent mouthfeel, flat. Okay.

Bottle sample at PINT Winterbierfestival ’16. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, some dark fruits. Flavour is likewise, just brown sugar, yeast, light fruity, yeasty bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Meh..

Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2016.
