--- Beer merged from original tick of Speyside Oak Aged Blonde Ale on 15 May 2018 at 15:06 - Score: 6

Bottle @Le Bon Bock (Rome). Dorata carica, limpidissima, schiuma bianca media. Molto interessante!

Part of their Merry Craftmas 6-pack. Pours a clean golden colour with an amber hue. The warm cap has decent retention and good lacing. Malty nose with some sweet grain notes. Some caramel. The taste is sweet with the vanilla from the oak. The caramel helping again. Some nice grain, some bad sweetness. Could not have another. Too rich.

Clear, golden colored, small white head. Aroma is of malt, caramel, fruits, oak and vanilla of course. Taste is medium sweet malt and caramel, bit of fruit, vanilla and a decent amount of oak chips, light whisky, light+ grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Pleasant but aside from the oak chips, not much going on unfortunately. (bottle, Harat’s, Zagreb)

Bottle, many thanks Panayiotis, medium bubbly head, clear rusty orange color, oak and vanila aroma with some dried apricots waffle and bread, caramel and vanila flavor with some yeast, mellow bitterness with just a hint of alcohol coming though, light to medium mellow mellow sweetness, light pleasant sourness, lingering vanila and dried fruits aftertaste. Nice, drinkable and unusual.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with thin creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of toasted malt, oak, vanilla, whiskey, flowers and honey. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt, follows by fruits, vanilla and oak, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Surprisingly good, quite light with emphasized barrel note...
