Pours a clear golde ncolor, topped with a small and non-lasting white head. Very faint malty aroma, almost none at first. Slight whisky nose later on, becoming stronger with some vanilla in the back. Sweet and malty taste, lots of very pleasant vanilla and some bourbon. Slight alcohol warmth in the finish. Nice surprise and interesting brew.

Pours a clear copper color with small, short lasting white head and very visible carbonation. No lacing. Smell is very pleasant, nuts, wood, caramel. Thin body with aggressive carbonation. Watery texture. Subtly bitter taste. Aroma is very, very nice. Caramel, toffee, nuts, whisky, alcohol. I absolutely love the somewhat woody mouthfeel. Really nice. Overall, tasty and refreshing. Would definitely drink this one again

Bottle at Grain & Hop Store, Cambridge. Golden brown, a bit of head and a decent amount of carbonation. Smells of honey, vanilla, whisky... anxious to get on the Innis and Gunn train, are we? Tastes good enough: sweet and cloying but not horribly so. Whisky, port and vanilla notes at the fore. Oddly short finish, leaving me only with the flavour of my own start.ed gums. I haven’t had I&G Original in years, but it’s a dead ringer for the beer I remember... That will have to be my next rate.

330 ml. bottle. Purchased @ Malt Attacks. I don’t see a date. Golden, sparkling, little disappearing bubbles. Noise is oily, faintly vegetable, plenty of sweet cheap apple, cheap honey, white sugar & light whiskey. Taste is sweet cheap apple, white sugar, vegetable, generic apple juice, dull, lightly vegetable, faint possible whisky flavor, caramel, cheap honey, cheap vanilla,… Low carbonation. Cheap vanilla, white sugar, apple juice, generic honey flavours seem to be more for the lager crowd rather than the beer geek people. For me the basic sweetness doesn’t do it for me, it is a bit like eating spoon after spoon of white sugar, fun for one spoon but becomes off-putting very quickly.

Bottle at KØ15. Papery aroma. Clear amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is caramelly with a vanilla finish.
