This Double IPA includes Mosaic and Simcoe hops, South American specialty malt, and tons of tastiness. Looks like liquid gold, smells like a bright tropical fruit pine forest, and tastes like all that and more.

Clear golden, white foam. Nice ripe and fruity, fully immersive hop aroma. Fresh and juicy. Tastes also juicy, nice balance between body and bitterness. Goes down easy, leaving some dry fruity and balanced bitterness lingering. Great, especially considering that this baby backs 8% abv!

Light amber color. Massive citra hoppy nose. Big fully hoppy mouth with tons of citrA and pine. Just full on hop bomb, but medium body. Super drinkable. Smooth. Big bitter finish but stays balanced through out.

Bomber at Hop Buds. Huge, dank, skunk-ass marijuana nose. Really more weed-like than any other beer I have tried. Clear golden. flavor of lemon, hash oil, biscuits. Full, oily body. Pure herbal dankness. Enjoyable.

Tap, mad mex. Thought I would hate this more when I found it was an IIPA, but its better than most IPA. Pale. Smells like mild sweet perfume. Big bold taset bud presence with a bitter impact that is mellowed with some fruity back bone. Yep, this is more like a behaved IPA than an impy, JMHO.

Bottle dated 08/19/16.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a burnt amber to golden orange color with a nice glossy transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace to fill a one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Moderate foamy white lace.
The aroma bleeds big bitter citrus rind, bold enough to grip my nosehairs and beat them into submission. Assertive pine coming in nicely as it warms. Underlying malts for the balance.
The flavor is dry with a balancing bitter to sweet, but not fully combined. Strong bitter rind grips the aftertaste and finish. But a touch of mineral sweetness also seems to hit the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seems to hit appropriately.
Overall, well, it’s a good DIPA for the most part and nice to try but can’t really see myself coming back to this.

22oz bottle [from trade with mnh9, thanks!] @ home. Clear medium to dark orange color, full sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, resin and pine, grapefruit. Taste malts, hops, light tropical fruit, heavy grapefruit, grapefruit hop bitter, resin and pine with a medium bitterness overall. Medium body, soft to medium but very suitable body. Lovely Imperial IPA!

Hazy golden color, compact head. Fruity and a bit dank aroma, hay, chamomile. Lean mouthfeel, just moderate sweetness, the malt has a good toffee character, soft hop resins, a lot of sweet orange.
Excellent.
