Bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a small, white head. Malty nose with a hint of sulphur and flowery hops. Medium body, sweet, clean malts with just sufficient bittering hops. Perfectly balanced and quaffable. 271023

Sternquell Spezial, Flasche von Markgrafen, Wünsdorf-Waldstadt. - Satt goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase leicht stumpfes, mild toastiges helles Malz und angestrengte krautige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk kernig gerstig hellmalzig, leicht karamellig mit feiner Süße, ein wenig Honig und Rosine. Solide aber etwas derbe krautig-hopfenwürzige Herbe (das Etikett nennt Hallertauer Hopfen). Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang anhaltende hopfenwürzige Herbe mit feiner Orangenbittere. - Solides Export, zwar nicht ganz frei von ruppigen Zügen eines Industriebiers aber mit kernigem Malzkörper und recht ansprechend gehopft. Many thanks to Kappldav123 for this bottle! Smooth grainy neutral beginning. Grain, easy to drink, moderate bitter. Lots of grain and not much bitterness in the aftertaste. Sessionable.

Shared with Erzengel! A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grainy malt, straw. Taste of dry grainy malt, straw, cereals.

0,5 l long neck bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear golden n the glass, two finger foamy head. You can´t expect more. Low grassy smell, little bit metallic. Taste is low grainy, little bit grassy, also metallic in the background. Low bitterness. Above average carbonation. Standard stuff, nothin´ special.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light lemon notes. Finish well balanced, milder. Average.
