Full Nelson pours a bright copper blonde which is accompanied by an attractive white head, which is both compact and lasting. From the word go, the aroma positively screams Nelson Sauvin hops, with their gooseberry, raisin, citrus and tropical fruit aroma. This is echoed in the taste, with the addition of a pleasant bitterness. Don’t do things by half, get the Full Nelson!

Light gushing to thick, bit fluffy off-white head, fed by fine carbonation in clear copperish-orange beer. Very fruity nose, C-hops, but also banana - seems to be a T.R. yeast feature. Citrus, passion fruit, melon. Malt - but I would rather guess Crystal than Munich. Hops too, indeed grapey - typical N.S. Bit watery, though. MF is its weakest point. Carbonation is too omnipresent in this soda-like beer with some good hops and malt. Really not bad - but not great neither.

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity, a bit grassy aroma. Light-bodied. Fruity, kind of acidic hoppyness. This is BBE 2016 but doesnt show Nelson Sauvin in full powa. Dissapointment.

Hazy orange color with unstable white head. Aroma is a bit wet cellar, grapefruits, tropical fruits, biscuity sweet malts. Taste is refreshing and fruity, but also biscuity. Oh damn. Shouldn’t skim other ratings. Now I found the glue aroma. Quite nice, on the heavier side for this ABV.

12oz bottle from Liquors Hasegawa in Tokyo. Poured into an English tulip pint. Hazy amber color with a big marshmallow-colored soapy head. Strong mango, pineapple peach aroma with a hint of citrus. Very crisp on the palate. Hop-forward and dry finish, but can detect some sweetness from the malts as well. Superbly balanced.

Keg @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Pale amber with a crisp, light tropical fruitiness running throughout its character. Not much sourness or bitterness involved, but certainly not a stated brew in terms of its taste.

Bottle at Barely Legal Tasting Room . Pours yellow, with an orange glow, and good white head . Smell is typical nelson, perfumy , floral . Taste is stonefruit , one of these typical sides of Nelson Sauvin . Carbonation is way to high . Sadly enough , i’m a bit dissapointed after having 2 really good beers by them . This is certainly not a bad beer, but nothing really special, and I just do not like overcarbonation at all .
