750 ml. bottle sampled @ “2de Bierproeffestival van De Dijleschuimers”. Sparkling lighter golden, small white bubbles for a head. Nose is mineral, overly so, green weeds, watery, chemical lemon,… Taste is watery, weird overly mineral profile, sparkling water, sugar, dull mineral, lemon,… Dull at best,… Fizzy, watery,… Odd, not liking this sparkling water mineral profile. This one is lost on me. Not a fan.

28/11/2015 - 15cl sample shared with tederoeck @WBF2015, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Hazy light yellow. Nose is fruity, citrus, melon, bitter. Taste is a bit disappointing compared to the nose, tastes are there but weaker than the scent. A bit soapy too.

Re-sampled at Winterbierfestival 2015. Not sure if the beer should be the same entry, basing myself on the alias of 2012 and 2011. Both couldn’t be more different though. I clearly remember not liking this at my original rating. On WBF, this beer was amazing. bitter, dry, green and herbal hops, some malts, complexity, all in a balanced form. Did my pallet change, was it the experience, or has this beer just improved ?

28/XI/15 - 75cl bottle @ Winters Bierfestival (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-1670) Thanks to Bierridder_S and the Gentse Biervereniging crew for sharing today's beers!

Pretty cloudy blond to beige beer, small specks floating around under a creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit cheesy, yeast, dairy, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity start, yeast, some banana, bit sourish. Aftertaste: grassy hops, banana, yeast, nice bitterness, some citrus.
