So. Um. Oyster mushrooms. Probably not the best adjunct for a farmhouse ale, at least not one without a shitload of brett. As it is, starts out with a dry, grassy front, with hints of lemon and yeast in the middle, and a briny finish that turns into mushroom earthy funk. Look, I love oyster mushrooms, and I love farmhouse ales, but…

A slightly hazy golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of tart pale malt, straw, grapes. Taste of some mushrooms, salty fruits, lemon, tart finish.

Can - mildly tart, moderately bitter, super dry - moderate yeast and grain rusticity and a hint of earthy mushroom - savoriness from the salt arrives late, with the faintest touch of smoke - refreshing that it isn’t an acid bomb like so many current American renditions.

Shared by Max: pours pale yellow with white head. Aroma is mushroom, light funkiness. Taste is lightly bitter, sweet, sour, funky. Not sure I got the mushroom vibes that hard.

Not sure how I feel about the mushroom vibe here. Lots of lemon and some salt. Clear golden pour with ok bubbles. Tart finish. Bottle.

Tip Tap draught 7/7/22. Moderately hazy, brass-honey. Small, fleeting, white head. Lactic acid and light lime-like acidity. Don't get the mushroom or smoke blindly, but looking for it, I suppose I can find it. Soft, salty and lactic. Bit of mushroom cap flesh, or is that just band aid like Brett. Definitely a wild ride here. Wish theyd either whirlpooled or dry hopped the mushrooms, not sure why they boiled them.
