A collaboration with our neighbors at Intelligentsia Coffee, this unique beer is named after the street we both call home. This medium bodied golden ale is "dry-beaned" with whole coffee beans to infuse it with subtle coffee flavors and aromas.

12oz bottle. I really like Coffee Golden Ales, and this one works. Easy going, rich medium body. Great balance, well brewed. Clean, but with lots of coffee flavor. Exceeded my expectations. I could go for more of this.

Bottle. Coffee, caramel malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet creamy coffee malt and mildly bitter herbal flavor. Okay body.

Bottle: Nearly clear, amber-orange with a thick, vanilla-white head. Grain malt, coffee aroma. Taste is sweet grain malt, a little fruit, and a very nice, understated coffee note..... Works really well as a whole with the combination of flavours.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with a slight burnt orange hue and a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of coffee with a bit of earthy grains. Flavor has lots of earthy coffee and not much else coming through.

Draft. A- Coffee. A- Amber color, clear liquid, white head. T- Coffee, slightly bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- This tasted basically like a pot of coffee. Nothing more, nothing less. I think I had higher hopes for it, but it was still very tasty.

Sampled from bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Clear golden color, virtually no head. Aroma is indeed firm coffee. Did not expect that judging by the color. Taste malts, coffee, espresso and bitter. So weird, but very nice actually.

Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent roasted coffee. Flavor is an ok roast of coffee but there is nothing much after that. KInd of a novelty beer. Look how clear it is and it tastes of coffee. It’s ok but getting more than a single is not worth it.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on the first night of June after getting a haircut, good times! Appearance is a clear copper with a thin but bubbly white head. Aroma is unique, nice blend of crisp caramel malt with a robust coffee profile. Taste is also unique and I think it’s great, finish is crisp and lightly dry with a great coffee / dark chocolate profile that I wasn’t expecting. I think this is one of the best for the style, in my opinion. Great stuff!

Bouteille 355ml, Bottled on 17/04/2015.
