Bottle, 12%. Almost black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little whisky and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little whisky, oak, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and medium bitter.

Flaske 0,33l Gave fra Rune. Kullsort. Høyt luftig lysebrunt skum som varer. Prikklacing. God aroma av kaffe & lakris. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken er lakris & sjokolade. Forbausende lettdrikkelig. Hvor ble det av alkoholen? Kledelig tørr avslutning.

330 ml bottle. Pours a black colour with a thin, brown head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and whiskey. Sweet flavour with dark chocolate leading to a roasted malt and warming alcohol finish. Full body with a creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation. Pleasantly surprised.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Vika. Devil-black body, remaining tan-coloured head. Pleasant aromas of dried fruits, mid-sweet dark malts, and a little note of alcohol. Flavours of oak vanilla sweetness, dark malts, espresso coffee and dark chocolate, added by a peaty touch. Dried fruity ending with tingling alcohol down the swallow. Full bodied. Just a perfect night cap at my hotel room in Oslo, 22.04.2014.

Color negro intenso con espuma bastante oscura. Aromas maltosos con fuerte carácter de maderas envejecidas, ligeramente quemadas y ahumadas. Cuerpo medio a fuerte con 12 vol bastante intensos. Buen paso por boca, bastante ligero y semejante a licor, dejando ligero regusto de maderas y pequeños amargos secos con maderas al final, incrementándose a medida que va calentando. Sabores de maltas tostadas, ligeramente ahumadas, con cierto dulzor, bastante cacao y ligeros toques de maderas quemadas y empapadas se licor. Poco amargo final, se echa de menos algo de sabores turbosos, salados y secos de esa maravilla llamada lagavulin. Para repetir sin duda.

Duft av lakris og karamell. dyp sort farge. Lite skum, noe langs kant. Nydelig god fyldig smak av lakris, vanilje og sjokolade. En nydelig dessert som gjerne drikkes igjen.
