750mL bottled January 2022, drunk 6/24/22. Royal purple, clear, with a purple head, small, fleeting. Juicy, fruity blackberries with soft, cracker and dough-like malts. Hints of pepper and such with a touch of Brett but not much sourness. No flaw or alcohol. Soft and light in the mouth. Keeping in mind this is 4.7%, it's appropriately flavorful and the marionberries are fantastic. But there's little to no tartness and certainly no sourness. More of a wheat-like fruit beer than a BA sour, not that that's a problem. Clean, soft, malty, well-attenuated, fruity and soft.

Blend 5. 1 Pint bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a hazy dark burgundy colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is yeasty red berry fruits, raspberries. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, yeasty, tart fruity, dry, super light sweet vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
