Fra flaske på Mi2, Cardinal mai-16: en kraftig røstet brown ale med kjeks, nøtter, og brente smaker. Kjedelig øl i en kjedelig stilart.

Bottle at home. Pours a very deep reddish brown color with a creamy, beige head. Slightly sweet aroma of nuts, leather, brown sugar, pine, rye bread, toffee and cocoa. The flavor has more roasted malt with tones of ash, leather and grass. Theres some fruityness in the background as well. Has a medium body and a slick mouth feel. Solid bitterness for a brown ale but is balanced. A both well-roasted and hoppy brown ale. Tasteful and nice.

330ml bottle, via djoeye, shared with Finn. Pours a deep mahogany coloured body. Crocheted lacing from an average, off-white head. Inviting aromas of earth and brown malts. Smoothly dark malty taste with notes of chocolate and brittle caramel, mild dark spices added to it. Malt-fruity finish, dry hopped. Well bodied. A very tasty version of the style, well made (session, Tromsø 08.04.2015).
